Instructors 2024 - 2025

Michael is certified to teach dance through examination by Dance Educators of America. He began his dance education and training at the age of five in Huntsville, Alabama. At the age of 12, he began competing in regional dance competitions, and by the age of 17, he began choreographing and teaching. At the age of 17, he was selected and honored as one of North Alabama’s Emerging Choreographers. By the age of 18, he began training at the collegiate level in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in the styles of ballet, jazz, and modern. During the 2012 through 2014 seasons, he was a member of the pre-professional dance company, Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre (ARDT), and choreographed as well as performed in the student showcase, Dance Alabama. He has taught and choreographed for over six years.
